Hello fellow Georgian and almost neighbor. I live in Rome. Welcome to the YorkieTalk family.

The answer to your question is yes. And it is incredible. My stethescope is an inexpensive one we got to listen to horse gut sounds so it isn't very sensitive. With the most recent litter (born last week) I could hear heartbeats for the last two or three weeks. I didn't mark it on the calander the first time I heard. I could hear multiple heart beats, but could not count pups by the heart beat until after the first two were born and we waited 10 1/2 hours for the third-- at that point I could hear one on each side.
