I know it's part of the normal socialization process in puppies to play fight, growl, yelp, etc. But, is it normal for them to really violent and loud? They sound like a smaller version of big dogs fighting. Sometimes one will even scream, which I know is good to teach the bully to stop what she's doing (it's usually she in this case), but I worry that they might be getting too violent.

Since Mom doesn't interact with them, she's not there to set them straight.

When our Rotty had puppies years ago, she was always chastising them and was very 'strict.' LOL They are now very well-mannered dogs.

But our little ones don't have that situation, so we intervene when they get carried away, but I would love to get some of our thoughts on this.
