As long as your puppy IS eating at least twice a day and is acting completely normal otherwise i wouldn't worry about. Maybe it will only last a few days, and maybe he'll want to eat even more in a few weeks. Just keep an eye on his behavior and weight. Make sure he's not losing weight or becoming sluggish with the lower food intake. |
He's actually gotten bigger. He's extremely playful and energetic, but I hope it's not because he's over exerting. This morning he ate all his breakfast, but for lunch he was grazing. I feed him 3 times a day within 6 hours from each feeding. The last few days he's been grazing his food rather than eating it all at once. He also sleeps alot like a normal puppy but it's only the extreme playfulness when he's awake is how I can tell nothing seems to be wrong. As for his poop, it's solid and it looks like logs now, as opposed to the 'yogurt poop' he had when I was feeding him soft food 4 days ago.
If he starts becoming lethargic and decrease his eating again, I'm going to take him to the vet
