I have a dog with severe allergies. She was in and out of the vets office with different meds and shampoos for the first year of her life. We tried every kind of food, starting with eliminating anything with chicken, etc. We finally ended up at the doggy dermatologist doing a skin test. She ended up being allergic to dust, dust mites, mosquitos, different types of trees, molds, and fungi, and a few other things. She is now on allergy shots once a week and only has flare ups a few times a year, but they are not nearly as bad as they were. I know it is hard to see them in pain, but give it time and you will figure out what he is allergic to and will be able to work around it!
