These shots are not necessary after the first initial puppy shots, not even Rabies. Also the serum used in shots can be very different from one Vet. to another depending on what company he buys it from. Yes, it's all scary stuff. My little Delsi (Chihuahua) who died of a stroke a couple years ago never got shots and was never sick a day in her life. I do know some requirements do need to be changed especially the ones that won't allow the dog to fly commercially without current shots, and from the TDI rules:
