I dont tube feed but I believe Pat does, you may want to talk to her or your vet about it. Myself I think its too risky, but others use it faithfully.

keep us posted | When she is on the teat at first it is real bad, I am afraid she will drown. I take her off and momma cleans her up and then we keep doing this until she gets tired. But as she slows in her feeding the milk coming from the nose slows down as well.
The feedings I do is with a syringe, just on the edge of her mouth so I know she is swallowing on her own and nothing is going into her lungs, cause I know I would be putting her at risk for pnemonia. But with the slow process of syringe feeding nothing comes out of her nose. |
