 My poor denzel
hi yt family let me just start off by saying i know a lot of people post threads like this all day everyday but you are my family i needed to share with you. Denzel went to the vet this morning. I made him an appointment because a couple months ago he started to get brown spots on his skin and his vet told me its like dog acne but if it gets worse and don't clear up to bring him back she will have to do test. So maybe the past month he was scratching like crazy and then he started to get more spots and i know i probably shouldn't have waited a month, plus last night and this morning he kept crying and i couldn't figure out why so he slept with me and bf but anyway the doctor said that he is allergic to pollen and dust he has skin allergies. And that he irritated his skin by scratching (my fault). He has to take to different liquid medicines and he has some medicated shampoo. His skin scrapping test came back negative so she told me to keep him in the house as much as possible for the next two weeks because of the meds and the air. He is now sleeping like a baby. I just felt so horrible for my baby how could i have let him be in pain like this? I just thought he had dry skin. Is there any advice yt mom and dads who babies have allergies? Because the vet ask me about his bedding because his was on his tummy but i wash his linen and toys once a week. Its just denzel, hubby, and i. I'm a neat freak i'm always dusting mopping etc. Is there something else i'm missing or not doing or doing wrong? |
