i think you are more talking about life saving medicines, and the OP looks like it's more focused on cosmetics, shampoos, soaps, things that are not life saving medicines.
i don't see the need for animal testing on the type of products the OP is talking about, what kind of new cheap chemicals are they trying to add into these type of products that would require them to test it on animals? probably things you dont' want anywhere near your body anyways.
