A lot of younger people have never seen these diseases in their lifetime, most kids are vaccinated at a young age these days, it wasn't always like this.
It is so easy to forget or not know of these terrible times, I hope people will make good informed decisions of how they look at the world today.
On another note, Tuberculosis has reared it's ugly head in the USA again in recent years, anyone can catch these diseases, they are not restricted to the poor.
