As a young boy growing up in the 50's, at school I witnessed kids in leg irons who were disabled with poliomyalitis, I saw kids with smallpox, kids had TB.
These diseases were rife around the world, the research done on animals, produced the vaccines to combat these killer diseases, as a result, we all now live longer and do not die at young ages.
Sorry if I have gone a bit over but I have seen these diseases in my lifetime and do not want to see them again.
I never ever want to see a kid crippled who could have had a vaccine again. |
