A Big Congratulations

At times the placenta will present itself with the next pup. But, to insure that any retained placenta does not remain within your girl, take her to the vet in the morning to have an Oxytocin (POP) shot. Always good as a precaution, it's a sure method that any dead tisssue is expelled and reduces the chance for infection that can be a big risk for your girl. In addition, it helps with milk production.
