Hello and Welcome to YT! I agree with what's been said already. You will need to teach your daughter that the puppy is not a toy, but a living, breathing thing with feelings that she needs to be careful around and protect.
Is she a hyper child? I ask because, my niece is and at 14 years old my sister got her a chihuahua puppy. She didn't even have the tiny girl a week. She was running in the house and when she down the stairs she stepped on the puppy who was trying to follow her up them. It didn't survive. So please, make sure to teach your daughter about protecting the puppy and no running around it. Do that and you should do great! |
