I would suggest you talk to a vet (probably a hollistic) vet because it is my understanding that if you are giving a certain percentage of the food as home cooked you have to have it balanced correctly. You can cause future problems if its not. I looked into it at one time, but it seemed pretty complicated. I do a combination of home cooked and a good kibble, my vet is happy with that combo. I also use supplements in my home cooked food that he has given me. I do about 75% kibble and 25% home cooked.
