Default Home cooking

I would really appreciate some advice on home-cooking for my two. I'd like to switch over as Rosie is quite a picky eater and many of the dry foods are too big for her and she just refuses to eat wet dog food.
Is there a specific ratio of meat to rice/pasta, or there alternatives to these two?
They get scrambled egg once a week, just started them with cottage cheese... how often?
Introduced sweet potato today as I saw it on another thread, What about normal potatoes?
I sprinkle on S.A.37 a couple of times a week, and put a few drops of fish oil and evening primrose oil on each day. They're coats look really good with no scurf or dandruff, should it be some other oil.
Any help or advice will be much appreaciated. Many thanks.
