I felt much the same as you are feeling. You will need lots of patience, but boy it's surely worth it. Calleigh started calming down at about 1 and by 1 1/2she was great. She was a very hyper puppy and is still that way at times. For me the wee pad training works if you reward them with treats and praise. The problem with me is I'm still giving the treats to her occasionally at 2 yrs. old.
