I agree with you. I used to hold grudges also and I would bring things up to my husband that happened years ago and he would look at me like I was an idiot My husband is the type who could care less who says or thinks what. He is very easy going and not to toot his horn , but people who are his friends are lucky to have him as one. It's true when people say as you get older you get wiser/ in my 20's I was a nut and confronted anyone. Now I have calmed down a lot and you just have to realize that people who try to make other people miserable are just miserable themselves and you know misery loves company So I agree let it go and instead of being mad turn that into pity.
It works to do that, trust me
