I think he might be mad at you. I know one time when I took my dog to a certain groomer, she complained all the way home. I never took her back to that groomer. My dog nips at me when he is upset. Just give him lots of love and keep things as quiet as possible for a while so that he has the least amount of stress and can recover from whatever his ordeal was. Apparently it was not pleasant. Poor little guy.
