Other than that, I was sure to socialize him really well. He literally went everywhere with me (that he was allowed to go). If we would see other dogs on a walk, I would hold him and kneel down with him so he could get used to the other dog, but without putting him in danger by letting him get too close.
His behavior has improved 100%. In fact, I recieve compliments all the time about how quiet he is "for a little dog". Sometimes I can tell he's tempted to bark, but he'll just made these funny little noises under his breath.  He definitely knows he's supposed to be quiet! |

I still do the same thing with Rockie. You want to stop the barking also because some big dogs can become aggressive and attack your furbaby.
I immediately turn Rockie away from bigger dogs and say no When Rockie barks.
