I'm curious as to why safflower oil? Grizzly salmon and coconut oil are the only ones I've heard recommended.

We have been using coconut oil (extra virgin, organic) for about 6 months now and the results have been fabulous. I melt about 1/4 tsp for each girl and they will lap it up just as if need be, though I do mix it with their food. In addition to being great for the coat and skin, it has many immune system health properties to it that other oils don't.
