[QUOTE=Mardelin;2734472]There is a website called infodog.com. It's a great site for obtaining show information. There are other dog show superintendents, I'm not familiar on who handles the east coast, but'll look into it. Anyway dog shows are a great place to learn about the breed, meet exhibitor/breeders.
The two main ones that handle shows on the east coast is:
Joy Jones

I would also like to recommend attending or joining an all-breed or breed club in your area. We (my all-breed club) have special guests attend our monthly meetings and speak about all kinds of things related to dogs. We have had specialists speak about all kinds of health care, breeding, genetics, health problems, testing, etc... And.. you will meet other breeders and can learn a lot from them too, some of it priceless!
You sound like you only breed the best quality. You have a lot to learn, but you can do it! Also I just wanted to mention that since your breeder sold you a pup at 8 weeks and the sire had coat issues - not the best to breed with. She should have asked all about the male before breeding to him. I would just love your girl as a pet and get her spayed and start over.
