Hi and Congratulations! Your new boys color is not what the standards call for but he's no more of a genetic defect than a black and tan yorkie is. Goldens are just as healthy as traditional colored yorkies. Some lines of goldens do have little white blazes on their chests and head, and these pups are turning out to be parti carriers too.

If you PM me, I'll give you some email addresses of breeders who specialize in golden yorkies.

I'm getting my first golden in the next week or so, he's from a line that also have white markings and the breeder had her first parti pup born in the litter (same litter that my boy is from). Attached is a pic of my golden boy.

Please keep us updated as your pups grow. We'd love to see photos too!
