I have a 12 1/2 yr. old baby girl female yorkie that had some problems brought on by a tick. Through examination and x-rays, it was discovered she has an enlarged heart. The doctor prescribed Enalapril Maleate for her.

Do you have any yorkies or other dogs that take it? If so, how has it been for them?

I'm scared to give something new to my baby girl, but looks like she'll have to take 2.5mg of it every day for life.
