Okay, I am going to quote Victoria Stilwell on Proper Pooping:
"A good poop is one which is formed, but still leaves a residue on the pavement." Basically, like people, you don't want your doggie to be struggling to expel her waste, but it also shouldn't be completely smooth and sticky.
