They will let me use a harness in obedience. Just not the agility class. They said it may get caught on something??
Yes slip is a choke.
Fight the rules only we can change the things that for our dogs are wrong.
For the basics of agility I'd go harness and after the basics are in and she/he will work along with you nothing on in the ring at all to get caught.
I have done agility in a harness as well as a head coller.
But I be raising the roof and verbally dropping a few trainers if they even suggested to put a choke or slip on my dog outside a confermation show ring.
