I want to breed her but I don't know anyone who has a male who is APRI registered. My grandpa has a AKC registered small male Yorkie. He wants me to breed them, but after looking into the APRI and the AKC sites. Both Dam and Sire have to registered the same to register the litter. I always thought that as long as the female was registered then the litter can be registered the same as the mother. Any advise or help would be appreciated. Please don't be rude..Im just needing advise not a lecture. Thank You.
Simple answer to your question without lectures, is No. Both parents need to be the same registry to register the pups. Topknot gave great advice!
