No, you cannot register litter as AKC - both mom and dad must be AKC to do so.

Have you also checked the Yorkshire terrier standard to see if they are good examples/representation of the breed? Vets do not know each breed standard.

What tests did you have done at the vets??

The male should be checked and tested too before breeding. Just wanted to make sure you knew that it is more than just a regular health check.
