I don't know where you are in your journey to becoming a responsible breeder, but we all start somewhere.

I'm so sorry the person your breeder obtained stud service from was not more forthcoming in revealing the background of the sire. That is one of the steps in being a responsible breeder. Both the sire and dam owners should be honest with the genetic make-up of both dogs.

Your lil girl should not be bred.

There are some very responsible breeders in your area. However, you'll have to pay your dues up front and it's a long road. Most will not just sell a breeding dog to just anyone without knowing them on a personal level.
