at 6 months old your puppy is still teething and that is probably what is causing the bad breath. Also if he has retained puppy teeth that could also be causing the stinky mouth. You can start brushing his teeth everyday to help cut back on the smell and keep his adult teeth clean but until the puppy teeth fall out or are pulled out you will still have that bad teething breath.
