The use of hand signals is a good idea. My husband trained our 10 week old pup to sit,stay,stand up, come and play dead in one week(I'm not exaggerating) using hand signals and telling him what to do with treats. He now has him doing it with only hand signals. They are smart, smart dogs. They just have a mind of their own sometimes. |
