You can do Vaseline, lots of it, does not hurt ... and may last longer than the oil. Another trick is to do the Vaseline and dress her on a "onesie" for babies, it will keep her away from the friction a little... it should be all gone in about 10 days and stitches will come off on the 6th... only 6 more days to go then !
