I was told that a well exercised dog is a happy dog but my puppy Stella refuses to walk outside. She will pee and poo outside but I have to carry her out, physically put her on the grass, and then carry her back inside. If I even try to take her for a walk she will plop down in the grass (either sit or full out sprawl in it) and wont budge. Pulling her gently does not work. The rare times she will walk outside she will plop down, dart a few steps, and then plop back down. It would take forever to get her in the apartment that way so I end up picking her up. Does anyone know if they grow out of this or if there is something I can do? I have tried treats but she is not a very food motivated puppy. I had no idea a dog could be so lazy!!!
