I don't remember where but I read that if you put an old knee hi type stocking on the paw because there is so much hair in the way it is easier to cut their nails. Just let the nails poke through the stocking. it really does help. Half the battle is the hair is in the way. My guys hate to have their nails cut but this seems to make it quicker because I only have the nail to deal with.
