Here in MD the SPCA will give you a spay/neuter certificate to take to A Vet.... It lower's the cost, but you will have to pay for shot's and vet visit's.

Spay/Neuter Certificate Program
Animals not adopted from the SPCA can receive their spay or neuter surgery at reduced rates by purchasing a certificate (by mail or in person) from us and redeeming it at a participating veterinary clinic. Click here to see a list of participants. The certificate does not cover the cost of required vaccinations or any additional veterinarian fees. Clients are advised to call the veterinarian in advance to inquire about additional fees if applicable.



Spay and Neuter Fees Are:

Dogs
Cats

Male $43
Male $28

Female $58
Female $43



Send a letter size self addressed stamped envelope and check to:

or call: 410-235-8826 for more information.

Make sure to indicate if the certificate is for a male or female and cat or dog.
