Natural Balance Ultra has thick stubbly black hairs in it too. I didn't notice it until I wet the food...I'm wondering if it's from Lamb, but they don't have blk hairs.

If the ingredient doesn't say 'organic' or 'natural/free range', the meat will usu contain hair, feathers, maybe even bones. As long as it doesn't say animal by-products (which would contain anything left over that's not fit for human consumption; like feet, head, ect.), but isn't hair, feathers, bones just that, by-products? **shrug**
