I know the breeder offered food to the puppies and Gracie was never forced to be with them but was an overly protective mama and rarely left them I am told. I would think she has had more than enough milk for one puppy at a time. Is that a factor? I have attached a photo of her with Skeeter (She is his and Adie's mother.) Skeeter is only a few days old in the photo and it looks like she has plenty to feed him! (I know, Skeeter was/is a moose.) I will as the vet about it when I take her in on Monday. |
