I use straight white vinegar in a spray bottle to clean my kitchen counters--also litter boxes and other hard surfaces I want to disinfect. Sometimes I add a few drops of Seventh Generation dish liquid to the bottle. Undiluted white vinegar is also a great insecticide for ants.
Because I love my pets, I don't like using anything toxic--and I have the weeds in my lawn to prove it!
