inflammatory bowel disease is a cause and you need to have on a diet with no white potato as that is inflammatory to the intestines. My dog has ibd and is on purina ha vet food and it has worked for 3 years but he has it in small intestines which is vomitting and sounds like yours has it in large intestines if diarrhea
