For what it's worth, SEVERAL doctors and nutritionist have stated that vitamin supplements in humans just make expensive urine. Humans and animals get sufficient vitamins from the food eaten by both.

Some dogs just like to eat poop. My Zena is very fond of cat poop! Eewwe!

If you believe in vitamins, then so be it. They certainly will not hurt unless given too frequently. Good luck with them. Bananas are a great souce of potassium. I've yet to see a dog that did not like bananas however.
