Go to your local vet and get a capstar pill if they carrie it I am a vet asst. and our clients love it. The product Is very safe starts killing in 30 mins. only last for 36 hours then use frontline or Advantix, advantage to keep under control. You must treat the house , yard or it is going to be a on going issue that you will never beat. Wal-mart products are a waste of money for most dogs and it is sometimes Dangerous we have animals come in that have had reactions to there flea and tick products. Good lucks fleas are horrible this year in our area.
