Welcome to YT!! I would address all these issues with my vet. I only use flea medication that my vet prescribes and was told not to
ever use flea shampoo on Toto. She never, ever gets a flea in Colorado [we have been here for about 5 yrs.] so I seldom ever put flea meds on her but I have to use them when we visit our home in Alabama. Good luck ... those things are nasty and hard to get rid of!
