SO glad your mother screamed and scared the hawk away! Birds of prey can and will snatch up a meal , fast! How frightning that must of been . I am very glad this was a happy ending , and a warning to us all to be very careful. I have huge owls out where I live, that scare me . We can never be too careful when it comes to our little ones.
