Does she play with tennis balls or toys that have that type of coating on them? Our trainer said not to give them those kinds of toys because it makes them chew holes in the carpet. Maybe take those types of toys away and replace with other kinds. Not sure what to use on the carpet to deter further chewing. Good luck.
