My 6 yr old that was rehomed to me 3 months ago was doing this. Sometimes she would hold it all night, other times not. I had her in an area that had a pee pad and her bed. I would go check the mailbox and she would pee and/or poo, even though she had been out to do business 15 minutes earlier. So, I made her an area just big enough to hold her bed, nothing more.She hasn't done it since, day or night. That's been like three weeks now.
