I was of the (misguided?) opinion that the higher the protein level, the better - unless there were health considerations to be addressed.
The protein, however, needs to come from meat sources, not from grains. That makes it a more natural diet for the dogs.
The stuff I feed is about 42% from grain-free mix. |
