You are going to be a great mom!!! I've only had 1 puppy and that was my Simon. I got Hallie when she was 2 1/2 so I'm not the most experienced puppy person
I switched to Wellness after trying many different foods because Simon had such a sensitive stomach but I've had great luck with it. I get it here at a local pet store but I think they sell it at PetCo now too. It's a kibble but they also make canned too. I sometimes give the canned food as a little treat.
I pad trained Simon when he was a puppy and actually put him on the pad A LOT until he did his business and then praised him ridiculously. He is still pad trained today
And to be honest, I didn't get much sleep the first week with him. I stared at him all the time b/c I was paranoid.
Mine aren't crate trained so I don't really know what to tell you about that but I do know that a lot of yorkies here are so I bet someone will be able to give you lots of advice about that.
