Go for it, i couldn't believe how easy it was, i always wanted to feed my pup good "human" food, but i thought it would mean cooking it everyday for her, when i realized you could make it all up in huge amounts and freeze it in those small containers, and that pups only eat a teaspoon 3 times a day up to a year and then a table sized spoon 2 x a day, i was like wow this will last for a long time on one large double or triple batch....so i'm totally all for it now, my freezer isn't even that full cause they are so small the little containers she got for me...
i can't wait to see how Sadie will take to eating it...
OH ONE MORE THING: 
when you feed them, obviously unthaw it in the fridge the day before, and then put it in a little microwave/dishwasher safe bowl such as a condiment bowl, and pop it in the microwave for 6-8 seconds just to take the chill off for them...don't cook it though
