I have a 3 1/2 year yorkie that I rescued about a month ago,she has since had babies that are now 3 weeks old. I am wondering if anybody can give me some good advice as to how to stop her from growling and nipping at my four year old grandson.

He is very sweet to her and at times because he jumps around this will startle her, and I did tell him, he has to be soft when he goes around her. The real problem is, is that he wakes up in the middle of the night and often comes into my bedroom but Miracle has growled and gone after him. :-( This is in the middle of the night. I know part of it is her babies are in my room, it's the middle of the night, usually around 1 or 2 in the morning.

Does anybody have any advice as to how I can get her to stop doing this?
