Day 4 and I feel so much better.
I am even going to take Alfie to the woods later as we both need some fresh air.
Tamiflu is a prescription only drug as Lucia said, it only fights the effect of the flu it is not a vaccination.
They have another drug called relenza which is a drug you sniff but they are saying that this is being stockpiled in case the flu strain becomes more virulent later in the year, relenza is said to be able to fight off nastier bugs.
For anyone in the UK, just go to the NHS website for the info you want.
I wont go into detail as it is all on there.
All I can say is that it is nasty flu compared to what you would normally catch, Day 1 sneezing and feelin yuck, Day 2 fever, Day 3 tail end of fever and double yuck, Day 4 just feels like a cold.
Don't panic folks although if you have other health probs it is probably better to call your doc.
Oh and they are preparing a vaccine for later in the year, that might be worth getting.
