I think you would just have to leave the water/food bowls in the tent on the ground and I'm not sure how you would secure them. Maybe you could get heavy bowls like ceramic or something that would stay put?? I'm not sure though. I can try to send you a video clip of the tent with the dogs in it tomorrow if that might help you see it better to help decide what item to purchase.
