we go to other people's houses all the time. She holds it there too. Back when she was younger she sometimes did have an accident in my ex-boyfriends apt or a friends place but that was because she was still learning that she had to hold it not only in her house but in everyone's house.
She goes to the bathroom outside 365 days a year. She's like the mailman LOL rain, snow, sleet or hail (ok maybe not hail LOL ). She learned that when its raining or snowing, really cold or really hot she has to potty faster so she gets to come back inside quicker. I'm always out there with her (ok, i'm in the doorway) because the backyard isn't fenced and she's not on a leash now. When she was a puppy and we were training i took her out on a leash to the section of the yard i wanted her to potty in. I carried her out there, put her down, and said go potty. Then i stood in that one spot and she had the 4 foot diameter to go potty in. There was no walking around, exploring or playing. it was strictly business. Sometimes we stayed out there for 15-20 minutes in that one spot until she went. When she did potty she got a treat and play time either inside or out. She learned pretty quickly to potty fast in the rain because i took her out there in teh pouring rain on her leash and stood there for 30 minutes until she went. I had to do that maybe one other time for 15 minutes until she went and then she figured out the faster she potties the faster she gets out of the rain.
